A dry sump engine kit (less sump assembly) using the Titan Series 2 oil pump with 3 stages (2 scavenge & 1 pressure stage). Pressure outlet and scavenge inlet stages use bolt-on fittings whilst the pressure inlet and scavenge outlet stages are threaded 1/2BSP.
The oil pump is mounted to the distributor side of the block and driven by a gear fixed to the jackshaft pulley (Note that the front of the jackshaft pulley will need minor machining in a lathe to provide a suitable location for the oil pump drive pulley).
The oil pump mounting bracket and fixings supplied are for the later 205/202/200 type blocks. An alternative mounting bracket is available for earlier pre-205 blocks on request. The kit also includes a Poly V water pump drive kit, driven from the crank.
The pressure outlet from the oil pump is 5/8BSP. Note - the pressure feed to engine is not supplied as this needs to pass through a remote oil filter for which there are several options.
The oil pump has the facility to drive a mechanical tacho from the rear and a blanking plate is included for applications that don't require this option.Contents:
