Water rails are designed to simplify the cooling system and plumbing of the engine when installed in-line in a RWD car. The engine has water outlets at the back of the head, which in most RWD applications foul the bulkhead if you retain the original outlet housings. The water rails are designed with a narrow profile to transfer this outlet to the front of the engine making the plumbing simpler and neater. The rail is drilled for gauge temperature sender and electric fan switch and supplied with suitable switches for Escorts and a fitting kit. They also have bypass outlets to allow limited water circulation whilst the thermostat is closed. Incorporates a thermostat at the rear of the rail and provides a 38mm outlet on the exhaust side of the engine. INCLUDES THERMOSTAT, GAUGE TEMP SENSOR, FAN SWITCH & FITTING KIT
