Bailey’s valves have a 60psi boost capability (most diaphragm valves fail around 30psi). The DV24 single piston valve is suitable for turbocharged cars with a carburettor, throttle bodies or no airflow meter. The DV26 or ‘EVO’ twin piston valve has been designed for turbocharged cars that have an airflow meter. The ingenious second piston allows cars to idle perfectly and for the fuel mixture to be unchanged, which resolves all the poor running problems traditionally associated with diaphragm valves. Recently added to the range, the new ‘Venturi’ style trumpet outlet dump valve offers a distinctive lower-tone pitch ‘Dump’. These new valves have been made due to customer requests for an aggressive valve with increased airflow capability for higher power applications. With model codes of DV34 and DV36, they have the same application as the DV24 and DV26 respectively.
